Profhilo Body is specifically designed to target the problem of skin laxity, which is the loss of tone, elasticity and firmness that we all experience in our skin as we age.
HOW DOES PROFHILO WORK?
Profhilo is such a runny substance that it only needs to injected at key points on your body. From these injections sites, it will spread, finding its way underneath the surface of the skin, to treat specific areas of your body such as inner arm and abdomen. Once in place, the Profhilo solution boosts skin hydration by enabling the skin to hold moisture. It also stimulates production of elastin and collagen, which will help the skin to be firmer and bouncier. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages. We use a BAP injection technique which focuses on where the skin appears loose with a loss of skin tone, bringing a long lasting renewal.
TREATMENT WITH PROFHILO
It's very quick and easy. There are only ten very superficial injections on each side of the face and take around 10-15 minutes to do. Local anaesthetic is usually not required but can be used if you prefer. Straight after application there will be some swelling , but it settles down as the liquid disperses within the skin over the next 12 hours.
HOW LONG DOES THE EFFECT LAST?
We recommend two treatments delivered one month apart every six months to maintain the results.
WHICH AREAS CAN WE TREAT WITH PROFHILO?
Profhilo body can treat any problem areas including lower arms, abdomen and can be used to hydrate hands, knees and elbows.
