Meet REclinic & Dr Martina WOOD

Martina graduated as a dentist in 2011 and worked in Eastbourne, Brighton and Chichester hospitals after gaining a Senior House officer post. Training in all aspects of Maxillofacial and Surgical Dentistry helped her to develop a thorough understanding of facial anatomy and gain surgical experience. Martina worked as a general dentist for two years before she returned to studying and developing her interest in implant dentistry. She successfully gained her Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in 2018.

Having a dental and surgical background has given her an in-depth knowledge of facial structure and helped her to become an expert aesthetic clinician with a holistic approach to each patient. Martina has already gained accredited Level 7 Certificate in Injectable Aesthetic Non-Surgical Interventions and is currently studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Aesthetic Non-Surgical Interventions at the City of London Dental School.

Martina has been specialising in non-surgical aesthetic procedures since 2015 and has been visiting multiple aesthetic clinics, she has a loyal clientele around the whole of Oxfordshire. The passion for delivering unique, bespoke patient-centred treatments led to a decision to open REclinic within state-of-the-art clinical premises.

Martina worked as a general dentist for two years before she returned to studying and developing her interest in implant dentistry. She successfully gained her Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in 2018.

MISS JENNIFER DOYLE

Miss Jennifer Doyle joins REclinic as a Consultant Oculoplastic Surgeon. She is experienced in eyelid surgery including blepharoplasty (eyelid lifts), ptosis (droopy eyelids), ectropion, entropion, chalazions (styes) and the excision of eyelid lumps and bumps.

As well as specialising in cosmetic cases within the private sector (she is the Chief Operating Officer of The Clinic Holland Park), she also continues to work part-time within the NHS as a consultant at Milton Keynes University Hospital, specialising in functional eyelid concerns such as reconstruction following eyelid cancer removal.

She graduated with Distinction from Oxford University in 2012 having read Medicine at Christ Church College, Oxford. She was made a scholar after being awarded the Proxime Accessit for the Gibbs Prize. She went on to complete her Ophthalmology training at the Oxford Deanery before undertaking a fellowship between Buckinghamshire and Chelsea & Westminster in Oculoplastics. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and has presented at multiple national and international meetings within Ophthalmology and Aesthetics. She is a full member of the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

She has a passion for teaching and previously served as a lead trainer at Harley Academy, where she taught other medical professionals how to carry out aesthetic treatments in a safe and responsible manner. She now combines her knowledge of ophthalmic surgery with a keen eye for aesthetics to provide a holistic approach to achieving natural yet effective aesthetic outcomes for her patients.

MS VAIVA MIKALAUSKAITE

Vaiva is a passionate advocate for diabetes, menopause, and dermatology. With a background in community pharmacy, she brings extensive experience in collaborating with GPs, managing diabetic clinics in primary care, and spearheading independent weight loss clinics in private care settings.

Driven by a commitment to excellence, Vaiva has honed her expertise through specialized training, including the Diabetes Academy led by Prof Saqib Mahmud. Here, she gained insights into cutting-edge treatments like GLP1 medicines, demonstrating her dedication to staying at the forefront of emerging diabetes therapies.

Vaiva's dedication extends to women's health, where she focuses on managing menopause clinics and hormonal replacement therapy. Embracing a pro-aging philosophy, she approaches the aging process holistically, continually updating her knowledge through refresher courses and specialized training programs such as REDWHALE and Newson Menopause training.

Beyond her clinical practice, Vaiva possesses a unique skill set in crafting personalized skincare formulations tailored to individual needs. Her background as an aesthetic pharmacist further positions her as an ideal clinician for advanced treatments like PRP/PRF and exosomes in regenerative aesthetics.
